Since opening April 1 of this year, 9Round’s first London location has been making members stronger in just 30 minutes – both mentally and physically. While the London location is locally owned and operated, the 9Round franchise has over 750 locations worldwide. 9Round London joins over 40 other locations in Ontario, and many more across Canada.

9Round London is proud of its commitment to its members’ health and wellness, and to the education of its trainers. The 9Round London team consists of four trainers, with backgrounds ranging from personal training, fat loss coaching, professional fighting, physiotherapy, and sports psychology. The diversity of staff creates the ultimate blend of experience for members – whether they have recently embarked on their fitness journey, or are already well-established athletes. The team is driven by its passion for fitness, and they have a strong desire to see their members achieve their goals. A willingness to modify workouts to suit different injuries and abilities gears the workouts towards individual results.

Working out at 9Round is always a unique experience. There are no class times, so the workout starts whenever you are ready to go. The 9Round circuit is focused on both losing weight and building lean muscle, using a blend of kickboxing techniques with high intensity interval training so that it’s a killer workout every time. The workout also changes daily, meaning that every day you will be challenged differently and pushed to a new limit. It is guaranteed to make you sweat!

Progress can already be seen in members in London. Even those with no kickboxing experience have increased skill, lost weight, and gained newfound confidence. Members at 9Round have seen progress in their cardiovascular health, general mobility, flexibility and mental acuity. Many gyms emphasize the importance of building physical strength, but the role of mental strength and resiliency is often minimized in the fitness industry. Not only does exercise release endorphins that are important for mental health, but punching a heavy bag is an excellent way to release stress!
