Ball Hockey International (BHi) is pleased to announce that they will submit and manage Team Britain’s entry into the 2017 World Ball Hockey Federation (WBHF) World Championships. This event will take place in June, 2017, in Litomerice-Lovosice, Czech Republic. This biannual ball hockey event brings together nations from across the globe to competing to bring home a gold medal.

In order to try out for the 2017 Team Britain entry, players must be able to show British heritage. Players must also self-fund their participation in the tournament. BHi will help subsidize the registration costs for registered BHi players. Fundraising events and opportunities will take place leading up to the tournament to assist players with the cost.

“This is an amazing opportunity for players with British heritage to participate in this international event,” said Chad Asselstine, BHi General Manager. “We’re confident that we can put together a team to represent Britain well, and compete with ball hockey’s elite nations.”

Said Domenic Di Gironimo of the World Ball Hockey Federation: “We are pleased to be working with another leader in the sport’s growth. The WBHF’s global expansion requires experienced people to support and contribute to its development.”
