Summer may be over, but something fun is always happening at The Hood Archery Games. In September, more specifically, that means the Forest City Battle of the Bows! The Hood Archery Games is hosting this charity Archery Wars tournament in Kiwanis Park on Saturday, Sept. 15 to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario.
Up to 18 teams, consisting of 6 players (with up to 2 subs), will compete across three fields in Archery Wars (like dodge ball but with bows and foam-tipped arrows). In addition to team signups, the event is seeking sponsors and donations – both cash and in-kind (prizes, items to help with the tournament, etc.). Promotional sponsorship packages are also available.

Meanwhile, in September, The Hood’s indoor facility will be resuming regular hours for Archery Wars, Nerf Wars and Flight School sessions.
