It’s been a great partnership in 2017, as Audi London has been a sponsor of FC LONDON and its high-level men’s and women’s soccer clubs, which compete in League1, as well as the Club’s elite FC LONDON Academy.
London’s team uniforms have been graced with the iconic ‘4-rings’ Audi logo and branding, and the company has also supplied a decorated vehicle to the club for the season. There’s no doubt, Audi London is a strong supporter of soccer, and manager Leo Malcevic says he’s been thrilled to partner with London’s top soccer club.
“We’re great supporters of soccer teams, and that means the world to us,” Malcevic said. “And this partnership is a great way to be able to make a positive impact in the community, as part of what we do every day. And this is the first step of a great opportunity for us to be tied up with MLS.
The players and coaches have certainly enjoyed the partnership with Audi, as they strive to win League1 Ontario titles in 2017.
“We consider ourselves one of the top organizations, and having one of the top companies sponsoring us, I think, is a great partnership,” said Mike Marcoccia, the head coach of FC LONDON’s women’s team.
Both Audi London and FC LONDON are looking at the collaboration as a long-term partnership – to promote Audi London and the sport of soccer in the community, and to provide opportunities for female and male players to be the best that they can be – both on and off the field.
“This partnership certainly helps to create opportunities for all players,” said Ian Campbell, CEO of FC LONDON. “And it has helped promote our brand to a larger audience. It’s been a great relationship with Audi London.”
