The London Minor Football Association (LMFA) is celebrating its 61st season this year, and the organization is happy to welcome some new sponsors who are helping their community by supporting youth sport.
Both the East London Optimists and the Talbotville Optimists club have continued to sponsor players across the London and St. Thomas area. Thanks also go out to Tony Roma’s restaurant on Wellington Road, which has generously supported the LMFA for many years. Many young players are able to join our organization directly because of the generosity of sponsors like these. No player is ever turned away from the LMFA for financial reasons.
LMFA is a house league that welcomes all boys and girls (from ages 7 to 13) across the London and St. Thomas area. We accept all players, regardless of experience or ability, offering the chance to join a team, make friends, stay active, and learn about teamwork and sportsmanship.
Every Sunday in the fall, our 24 teams compete on the fields at Citywide Park leading up to LMFA Championship Day on the first Sunday of November. In the winter, our popular indoor skills camps get underway at Centrefield Sports.
