Eager Beaver Baseball is preparing for its 65th season of providing a quality baseball program to players of all ages. From Little Sluggers (born 2014 & 2015) through to Juniors (born 1998-2000) and adults (coaching, umpiring and many volunteer activities), EBBA offers everyone a league to develop baseball skills – and life skills, too. Teamwork and mentoring are cultivated, along with throwing, catching and batting.
The home park for the Little Sluggers, TBall, Rookie and Mosquito divisions is Mornington Park with all games played at the three diamonds located there. The PeeWee division has home games at Mornington, while the Bantam, Midget and Junior divisions play out of Kiwanis Park. Away games are hosted by various leagues around the city and neighbouring communities.
Information on the 2019 season is already on the website (www.ebba.ca). Online registration opened January 1. Indoor clinics began the week of January 7. The first in-person registration is January 26. Outdoor practices start May 1, and games will begin the last week of May.
Be sure to step up to the plate by March 31 or you may find your player on a waitlist! Please go to our website for full information.
