During the holiday season, Centrefield Sports embraced the end of the year with a number of camps, clinics and leagues, and welcomed the new year with plenty of new players, teams, and members out on the field.
December marked the end of hitting, infielding, pitching and clinics for all skills, but January will bring a new bout of sessions for an array of the same, so that newcomers can get in on the action, and so that those who have already begun to hone their skills can continue to do so and progress in their improvements. The end of the year also saw the end of our rookie and mosquito leagues, and 2018 will welcome pee wee players to the field for a league of their own.
Home of the Great Lake Canadians baseball program for local, elite, amateur players, Centrefield Sports is proud to be the off-season training facility for these athletes as they look to get ready to defend championships at three levels in the Canadian Premier Baseball League next summer. New this winter, the Canadians will honour several of the program’s top players with organizational awards before the year’s end.
Outside of several baseball camps, clinics, leagues and lessons, Centrefield Sports will also continue to be home to football, soccer, softball, lacrosse, rugby, and many more sports and activities throughout the year. Memberships to the facility are offered for individuals in flexible and accommodating packages.
We look forward to seeing you at the field!
