The 2016-2017 Middlesex Swimming aquatic season is in full swim, as several programs are active in the pool. The Competitive Swimming program, which runs from Sept. to July, will compete in 16 different meets this season, ranging from in-house competitions to the provincial and national levels. The Masters Swimming program, which runs from Oct. to June, is busy preparing for the 2017 Ontario Masters Provincial Championships. The Masters swimmers, as always, are also dedicated to reaching their personal fitness goals.

The Competitive Water Polo program, which goes from Sept. to June, has tripled in size since 2015. Players are busy preparing for several tournaments across the province this fall/winter. Meanwhile, the Masters Water Polo program (Oct. to June), which is a new offering catered to beginners, is undergoing some exciting times as a small recreation league is forming in Southwestern Ontario.

Middlesex Swimming’s regular season officially opened September 19 and will run until the end of June. Registration and schedules can be found at www.middlesexswimming.ca. Or for more info, email: info@middlesexswimming.ca.
