The Grand Opening of Little Kickers to London was a tremendous success! Little Kickers London launched its outdoor classes on May 14 at Springbank Park for children ranging in age from 18 months to 5 years old. Little Kickers London would like to thank everyone who helped make the launch possible and, of course, to the parents who enrolled their Little Kicker(s) into the program! The coaching staff is already in awe at the overall improvement of all classes after such a short time.
Little Kickers is the world’s largest preschool soccer academy with a network of over 1,500 coaches in 16 different countries. Their classes have been designed so that in addition to receiving a sound basic instruction in soccer from qualified coaches, children are also provided with a fun, positive introduction to sport. Learning through play is the core premise of what Little Kickers is all about.
The initial enrollment of the program filled up quickly. Limited class sizes were utilized for the launch, in an effort to get the coaches and many of the children familiar with the program. Class sizes will increase throughout the summer to accommodate those who were placed on one of the wait lists or anyone interested in joining a Little Kickers London class.
The Little Kickers program runs year-round. Classes will remain outdoors for the duration of the summer and into September. Once the cold weather returns, Little Kickers will move indoors and classes will continue in the comfortable surroundings of local gymnasiums. Weekday classes will also be introduced in the fall.
