Since its inception in 1974, the Ontario Electricity Utility Workers Hockey Tournament (OEUHT) has brought together utility employees from all over Ontario for the annual 3-day event. Each event raises money for local charities. A tournament player since the first event in ‘74, Mike McElwain took over as tournament organizer in 1985. The OEUHT now travels back and forth between Kingston and London. In 2012, Mike approached KidSport London as the OEUHT charity of choice. With the two past events held in London, just under $20,000 has been raised.
April 1 kicked off the third year for the event in London, and we are proud to announce that we raised $13,500. We at KidSport London are so appreciative of Mike and his amazing team of helpers, his corporate sponsors, Power Workers’ Union-Meridian, Real Clean Gear, and of course the 66 teams that participated in the tournament.
We look forward to your return in 2018!
