On Saturday, December 12 at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, over 300 friends, family and community members had an enjoyable night as London Synchro Club amazed with a variety of routines. Performances included Novice Competitive, Provincial Competitive, Masters, and University Team swimmers.

The December water show is the first opportunity for swimmers to showcase their talent and skills before the beginning of the competitive season. For many swimmers, the water show is their first opportunity to perform in front of a crowd. And while some routines are not yet finished, it didn’t stop our swimmers’ enthusiasm and excitement!

To date, London Synchro Club has a Novice program of over 30 swimmers making up several teams with age ranges from 6 to 14 years of age. Our Novice program swimmers, after only six weeks of instruction, have come an exceptional distance in learning the techniques of the sport, and our coaches couldn’t have been more proud.

The Novice program is a wonderful opportunity for swimmers to progress their synchronized swimming skills over a full season. They have fun learning and enhancing their skills while working as a team. It’s also an excellent stepping stone for girls who may be interested in a competitive stream, as the program introduces the girls to two competitions in 2016.

It was easy to see that the girls had a great time during the performances, and LSC is proud of their enthusiasm, commitment and hard work! Way to go, LSC!
