Thank you to athletes of all levels who participated in tryouts with focus and enthusiasm! Volleyball is becoming more and more popular in the London area, and FCVC was pleased with its largest ever turnout during tryouts for its 18 competitive teams, including overwhelming numbers in the junior divisions (12U – 16U). On the developmental side, the Acorn weeknight program is full to capacity, while the Sunday Acorn program is running a pilot program of combined training and tournament competition. The future is bright!
Our competitive teams will represent London well at the top of the Provincial and National ranks, and our developmental programs are working with the next generation of elite athletes. Forest City Volleyball Club is one of only five clubs in Canada to be awarded Volleyball Canada Club Accreditation for 2015. We are thrilled to demonstrate our commitment to excellence with each and every one of this season’s FCVC athletes!
