London Minor Lacrosse Association’s House League program wrapped up on June 28 with the 2014 Lacrosse Day of Champions. This annual tournament-style event allows players to show off the skills they’ve developed during the season, which runs from mid-April until late June.
LMLA’s House League lacrosse is a great option for anyone new to the sport or for those families who are looking for a lighter schedule and less travel than Competitive lacrosse. Because London operates the only house league lacrosse program in the area, many players travel to the city from neighboring towns, which has helped to maintain the league at 30 or more teams for the past several years. Players, both male and female, range in age from 3 to 21. Brand new players are welcome at any age. A free lacrosse stick is included for first-time registrants in the Peanut and Paperweight divisions.
