Luke Reeves – London Minor Football Association

Luke Reeves is a well-rounded young student-athlete who played four years with LMFA and four years with the Forest City Thunderbirds. He received the Outstanding Lineman Award in his first year with the Thunderbirds, and earned the Merit Award in his final year for his dedication and commitment to his team and the sport, both on and off the field.

Luke played five years with Oakridge Secondary School, winning the Junior A Championship in Grade 10 and the City B Championship in his final year (as the team captain). He also received the Jeff Darling Award in his final year, which is voted on by the players and awarded to the athlete most dedicated and committed to the football program.

As a student, Luke graduated as an Ontario Scholar and earned well over 300 volunteer hours. He earned the Principal’s IMPACT Award at Graduation, which is given to a student who has integrity, is highly motivated, plays sports and shows good sportsmanship and citizenship.

Luke will be attending Wilfred Laurier University this fall, as he was awarded a 4-year scholarship to play football with the Golden Hawks.
