As television coverage of the English Premier League (EPL) has grown in North America, so has the interest in football (soccer) podcasts. One particular podcast, started right here in Ontario, has a very unique approach.
Premier Punditry is for the fans, by the fans. The concept: bring together the best and brightest club supporters to banter about the EPL, UEFA Champions League, World Cup and more. The contributors represent the most passionate and informed fans around, including Morgan Rubes (Chair of Arsenal Canada), David Coleman (Chair of Manchester United Supporters Club of Canada), Donal Neligan (Founder of the New York Aston Villa Supporters Club), and Darren Rudham (founder and chair of the Baltimore Liverpool Supporters Club).
Premier Punditry produces two to three shows per week, as they match up contributors to preview and review the weekend fixtures. The podcast is available across many platforms (iTunes, Stitcher, Tune-in Radio, and RSS), and they have begun releasing free apps on Android, Google Play and iOS (Windows 8 coming soon).
