The London Sharks continue to show their strength by creating programs that develop great volleyball players while staying ahead of the game by being pioneers creating new programs and partnerships.
House League
The first ever London Volleyball House League will start in September. We are still looking for Boys and Girls in grades 6-10 to enroll in our leagues. This program is sponsored by the Ontario Volleyball association.
Little Sharks and Academy Program
These programs continue to develop new volleyball players. Little Sharks (ages 4 to 8) begins September 11. The Academy continues to feed our 12U-14U competitive programs, and it’s great for children ages 9-11 years old wanting to learn the game the right way. Our 13U Girls team was best in London and 5th in the province last season. Our 13U Boys and 14U Girls finished 9th in the province and also were best in the city. Our developmental programs work, and they are successful.
Government of Ontario Grant
The club is breaking new ground by being the recipient of a grant from the Ontario Government in partnership with ACFOLA to provide free access to youth of African and Caribbean backgrounds to learn the game of volleyball by attending our Developmental programs. The OVA is strongly supporting this ground-breaking initiative by promoting it with other clubs in Ontario.
Competitive Teams
The club’s tryouts and player assessments will start on September 9. We will have competitive teams from 12U to 17U categories. We encourage all interested players to register on our website and see why the London Sharks continue to grow the right way.
