When working together makes sense
This past season has been a special one for volleyball in the London area, as many new programs were created and the number of successful teams and athletes continued to soar. Supreme Courts Volleyball is largely responsible for this evolution, as it is the only facility in London with six volleyball courts, housing many volleyball programs like Crosscourt Volleyball league for adults, the Ontario Volleyball Association, Supreme Volleyball series in partnership with the Forest City Volleyball Club, Seniors Volleyball League, Advantage Volleyball training, Elite Volleyball Camp, London Volleyball Camp, Kids Learn and Play, the London Sharks Volleyball Club and others.
This year, the London Sharks will become the facility operators at Supreme Courts. This will allow for the club’s very successful programs to continue to grow and expand. Two Sharks teams finished the season as the top teams in London and top 15 in the province in the 13U and 14U girls categories, and most of the club’s players were graduates from the Sharks Developmental Programs, further demonstrating that these programs work. These developmental programs include the Little Sharks program, The SmashBall for boys program, the Sharks Academy, and the developmental program. London Sharks has grown to 10 competitive teams and over 300 players registered in all programs. And these numbers will grow exponentially next season.
Volleyball House league
Finally, London will soon have a Volleyball House league thanks to a partnership between the London Sharks and Supreme Courts. This league is ideal for boys and girls aged 12-16 who are looking to play more volleyball than just at school, but who are not looking to play on a competitive team. Kids will have a chance to learn the game, become better players, meet new friends and have a lot of fun. The league will start in September, and players may register in the summer.
