In February, Byron Soccer announced an exciting new partnership with Global Premier Soccer (GPS), one of the largest youth soccer clubs in the U.S. (active in 21 states).
GPS is committed to the growth of soccer across North America, and beyond. GPS develops players and people, encouraging youth to become both premier players and premier people.
As an Ontario Soccer Association Gold Excellence Club, Byron Soccer has established a reputation for delivering quality and affordable youth soccer programming. Byron Soccer has a strong focus on developing our participants into athletes who will love the game and be successful for years to come.
This new partnership with GPS will further enhance the quality programming Byron Soccer provides to the West London Community.
“We’re excited to be working with GPS to provide new opportunities for our recreational and competitive players to develop their skills and love of the game,” said Byron Optimist Soccer Club President, Nicole Davey-Makris. “Not only will GPS help improve and deliver our programs, they will be integral to mentoring our coaches, and educating parents and volunteers about the sport and youth development. Our players and coaches will also have access to GPS’ training plans and unique playing opportunities across Canada and the United States.”
It is an extremely exciting time to play soccer in Byron. GPS and Byron Soccer will be working closely to develop a series of new programs to grow the love for the game in all of our players – from age 4 to 21 and in recreational and competitive. As the outdoor season gets underway, we are all excited to see where this new partnership will take us!
