Thank you to all the parents and supporters of this season’s Forest City Volleyball Club U16 and U17 Girls teams. The technical development and coaching they’ve received over the years is definitely showing on the court! You can keep track of all FCVC teams through the website at www.forestcityvolleyball.com.

London’s U17 Forest City Girls Green team had a successful start to the season with a 5th place finish at the U17 Provincial Cup and brought home the Gold at an U18 Provincial Cup tourney! Upcoming competitions include a trip to Lexington, Kentucky to play in the Bluegrass Tournament with over 350 teams entered!

The team is working hard to peak at the end of the season when the Provincial Championships and the National Championships (hosted in Edmonton, Alberta) are contested. To offset the travel costs, the girls have been gratefully sponsored by WINMAR Property Restoration Specialists and several other local businesses. The team would also like to thank Preferred Insurance and BELFOR Property Restoration for their support and allowing the team to once again be involved in the Childcan fundraiser in November. Good luck this season, FC U17 Green!

London’s U16 Forest City Girls Green team has started off the 2015/2016 season with a bang! In their first month of competition, the athletes won Gold playing up in 17U, and repeated their success in mid-December with another Gold achievement in the U17 Championship Tournament. The road ahead to Nationals is a long and tough one, but with hard work, mental toughness, and thousands of repetitions, this team will definitely be a force to be reckoned with.
